So I just called my mom to tell her I started a blog. (She’s the one I always call with such news).
I said ‘Hi mom. Guess what? I started a blog?’
She said ‘a log?’
I said ‘no, a BLOG’
She said ‘OH, you started a log on the fire?’ (editor’s note: I do have a real fire place, so this was kind of a realistic question).
I said ‘no, a blog like online, like a Web site.’
She said ‘OH, you have you’re own Web site? That’s so cool.’
and that’s how I know I’ll always be cooler than my mom. (and I think she’s cool with that.)
