one more time: im getting a new couch!

So although the people from Furniture Row had to give me a two-hour time window for when they’d be calling to give me a two-hour time window for the ETA of my BRAND. NEW. COUCH. — I’m not disillusioned.

I’m really excited about the couch! (yay).

According to the man from Furniture Row (who did not think i was funny. (whatever.)) I should be getting it any time between 10 a.m and 12 p.m. tomorrow. expect to find me sitting on it for the next 3 weeks (ish). eating vegan chocolate. watching reality tv. what can i say? that’s just how i roll. (sit).

If you blur your eyes by looking at the two photos above and combine the color on the left with the couch on the right, you’ll have a pretty good idea of what my BRAND NEW COUCH will look like (in three to six weeks, depending on delivery).

my mom was SUPER awesome and bought the aforementioned couch for me this weekend. (because she’s awesome.) did i mention she’s awesome.

and now, if you visit, there will be a place to sit. and sleep. and sit. (in three to six weeks, depending on delivery).

We got the couch after we spent years weeks an entire saturday browsing stores from ripon to appleton. and i was tired. and I WAS TRYING really hard to be pleasant, but all that shopping was making me frustrated and i tried SUPER hard to not be cranky to my mom. however, if i was (say around 3 p.m. central standard time somewhere around the Fox Vally Mall), i just wanted to publicly apologize for it. right here. and mention, just once more that my mom’s awesome.

and just in case you didn’t think she could possibly get any more awesome, i should mention that she also DEEP CLEANED my bathroom while she was visiting. because she’s awesome.
