the following is a dramatization of a text-message conversation between me and my bff on May 18, 2008

her:
sleeping in ur contacts. solution exp. dates aren’t real, they’re like bottled water dates.
don’t let them fool u.
my eyes seem to be ok (as in — i can see), so i’m thinking i made the right choice. i’ll probably do it again tonight.
so sometimes i put a “more” link in my blog posts that takes you to, well, “more” of the post because i think they look really long on the home page. however, im getting some complaints that the link doesn’t work. or that it crashes computers.
and by “some complaints,” i mean, one guy told me this.
basically im just wondering if this happens to a lot of you guys or not. and then i will take such information into consideration when i want to use the “more” link in the future.
note: i may just ignore your comments on this though, because in the end it’s my blog and i can do what i want to.

OK, i seriously DO love. it. when people who make vegan food clearly state on the product “vegan.”
but im starting to think that the people who make these food products don’t really understand what vegan is, because a bunch of them are labled “100-percent vegan.”

i know! right?
because the thing is, food either is vegan or it’s not. so if something is say, oh, FIVE-percent vegan, it would automatically be non-vegan.
saying something is “100-percent vegan,” is like saying someone is “100-percent pregnant.” or that your grandma is “100-percent alive.”
in conclusion, if any of you guys out there were thinking of starting a vegan-food business — complete with packaging — please. please. please. take this post into consideration when considering your marketing techniques. also, totally call me because im looking for a new job* and i’d so be interested in working for a vegan-food business.
