i hate eating out because i have trust issues

i went to one of my favorite restaurants today (beware, it’s a little white-trashy). (cough) Denny’s. (cough)

mainly it was because if i eat any more mexican food im going to cry and i know they have boca burgers there. and like a good little vegan i ordered one. without cheese. and requested that they not butter on anything. and i DID have coke, but other than that and the high fructose corn syrup in the ketchup i was pretty healthy.

but now i feel like crap. so im thinking the waitress didn’t take me seriously when i said “NO BUTTER.”

my stomach is doing flip-flops. the only possible explanation is that there WAS butter on the bun. or chesse. or eggs. im not sure. but i hate that restaurant now.

and ever since i’ve become a vegan i don’t want to eat out anywhere. at all. even if the restaurant was called Veganrestaurant i wouldn’t want to eat there because the chefs would probably put cheese on things and then exclaim “oh! cheese isn’t vegan?!” and then i would feel like crap 20 minutes after the meal.

and no. it’s not in my head. this is a real problem.

the only thing is, eating out is so d*mn social in this country.

so… i challenge you readers: tell me things i can do with people that don’t involve food, but do involve talking (see how i just disqualified movies) and getting out of the house. please. my social life depends on it.

vegan bliss

im so happy. not only is the weather above freezing, but i found a whole foods. which is kind of like mecca for vegans (even though they have that pesky organic meat aisle).

while there i got vegan chocolate chip cookies. DID YOU HEAR ME? VEGAN CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES! i teared up when i ate one (true story) because it has been SO long since i’ve had a decent cookie. YES, they were like $22 (ish) for about four cookies. but i don’t even care. i mean my electric bill isn’t THAT important. right?

ALSO, i found some vegan Parmesan substitute stuff. although i haven’t tired it yet, i have high hopes!

but WAIT! there’s MORE! i also found a box of vegan macaroni and cheese!! could life GET any better? i think not.

and for those keeping track, yes it’s been FOUR weeks since i became a vegan. go me.

im so screwed

here’s the problem, it’s not like im CRAVING cheese. i just kind of think my body is.

i can tell because im dizzy. a lot. and im pretty sure that since it started when i gave up chesse it’s related to the whole vegan thing (although i can’t be sure.)

im kind of dizzy right now. (true story)

but i know TOO much about the dairy industry to turn back now. frick! what the crap am i going to do?

also, im having trouble concentrating. and it’s happening at work (only at the end of the day). im pretty sure it’s because im always dizzy. (not certain, just pretty sure.)

im taking my b-12 supplement like a good little vegan. and DON’T WORRY! i gets TONS of protein in my microwavable vegan dinners. but maybe my body just NEEDS some cheese to function or something. or maybe it’s sick of fruit. (again, i can’t be sure) 

im so screwed. and dizzy.

UPDATE: oh ya, and also, i kind of just want to sleep all the time.
